The Warriors (4-1) managed to eke out a win against a Maryknoll Spartans (1-4) pitching staff that allowed only four hits in a tight game at Patsy Mink Central O’ahu Regional Park. The Warriors were able to take advantage of a passed ball in the bottom of the first to score their first run of the game; then scored a run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the fifth and managed another run, which proved to be crucial, when Chaesten Chon went home on an RBI single by Logan Salcedo with one out. The Spartans were able to put runs on the board in the top of the sixth making the score 3-2 before they were shut down.
The Warrior pitching staff allowed just one hit and struck out five, but allowed five walks and hit four batters in the win.
