Li‘i Pontes pitched a complete game against Iolani (2-4) in the Warriors (5-1) win at Ala Wai Community Park on Monday. Pontes gave up only one hit in his first three innings of work until the Raiders scored two runs on three hits in the fourth. Pontes regained his form in the fifth and held the Raiders scoreless for the rest of the game.
The Warriors garnered eight hits and scored five runs in the win. Nakea Hanohano and Pontes had two hits each.
