The Warriors (8-5) came up short against the Mid-Pacific Owls (6-7) this afternoon, 9 - 10. The Warriors had a 5-1 lead at the end of 5 innings behind the pitching of B.Burnett (5.1 innings, 1 run, 4 hits, 1 walk, 0 strikeouts). Despite scoring another four runs in the top of the 6th inning to make it 9-1, the Owls fought their way back with hard line drives to score five runs in the bottom of the 6th, and four runs in the bottom of the 7th with the help of two critical errors by the Warriors. The Warriors' final regular season game will be at Maluna Field against the visiting Damien Monarchs this Saturday, 4/1/2017 at 9 a.m.
