More than 20 schools from across the Islands in addition to 2 Oregon high schools competed in the 51st annual Garner Ivey Maui Invitational this past Friday and Saturday at Maui High School.
Kamehameha Kapālama won the boys team title, while Baldwin took second, Le Grande of Oregon third and Lahainaluna fourth. The Kapālama girls took the 3rd place overall, behind Baldwin High School (1) and Waiʻanae High School (2). Eight KS Kapālama wrestlers walked away with gold medals for their respective weight classes.
