Practice is cancelled today, Monday 11/21/16,due to weather.

We will have a meeting for parents to get information on our season, meet the coaches, and ask questions. The meeting will be at our Sand Island practice site at 10:30am. A handout will be given to kids to take back to parents who are not able to attend. And sorry for the last minute notice.

We need the entire team's help to refinish our canoe iako in preparation for our upcoming season. We will be refinishing the iako on Saturday 10/22/16 from 9am-3pm at the Tech Building Woodshop on campus. If you intend to paddle this year, please dedicate some time that Saturday to getting our equipment ready for the season. If you can't spend all 6 hours on Saturday, that's okay. Help for as many hours as you can. Contact Coaches Kehau or Napali if you have any questions.

The attached flier provides basic information about our paddling program. Please signup online NOW, and be sure to turn in the completed Athletic Participation Form to Athletics by 10/24/16. There will be a sign up meeting for all students interested in canoe paddling on Tuesday 10/11/16 at 3:15pm in Koaia Room 304. Important information will be shared on team eligibility requirements, program expectations, training program, practice schedule, season race schedule, and other important information. If you want to paddle, please make every effort to attend.

There will be a meeting on Tuesday 9/6/16 in Koai'a Room 302-303 from 3:15pm-3:45pm to discuss Preseason Strength and Aerobic Conditioning for boys and girls canoe paddling. The meeting will be short (15-20 minutes). In advance of the meeting, please signup online for canoe paddling. If you are currently participating in other sports and cannot attend the meeting, that's okay. Preseason conditioning is aimed at paddlers not currently playing other sports.  First day of preseason training is Monday 9/12/16. Meet at the track at 3:45pm.
