Starting offensive lineman Lokahi Pauole '19 will compete in the 2019 Polynesian Bowl among some of the top high school football players in the world.

The official account for the Polynesian Bowl announced on Twitter on Friday morning that Pauole had been selected to play in the all-star high school football game held in January every year during the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week. Lokahi is the first athlete from Kamehameha Kap?lama named to the 2019 roster and follows in the footsteps of previously selected Warriors like Kalamaku Kuewa '18, Jonah Kahahawai-Welch, and Andrew Aleki '17. Currently uncommitted, according to Hawaii Prep World, Lokahi has several standing offers from Division I programs including Arizona State, the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, and the Air Force.

The Polynesian Bowl gathers the top high school football players together to train, to compete, and to celebrate culture. Top players are chosen by the Polynesian Selection Committee based on performance during past seasons as well as future expectations and potential.
