Kamehameha fought back from 2 goals down late in the game to tie it in regulation. Poor passing in the first half and poor shooting in the second half led to a close game against the Mid Pac Owls. A late goal by Kaethen Kahana on a man up tied the game in regulation and put a dagger in the hearts of the Mid Pac Owl fans hoping to get their first win as a varsity team. The momentum continued in the first overtime period as the Kamehameha offense finally got on track. A goal by Ka'imi Medina put the Warriors up one. This lone goal in the overtime period ended up being the game winner with the host Warriors coming out with a hard-fought 6-5 victory.
