Just a bit short...a perfect description for the latest Iolani vs. Kamehameha Division 1 water polo match up.  Last year the teams split their regular season match ups.  This year Iolani has come out on top, 4-5 two weeks ago and last night, 7-8.  The young men of Kapalama came out strong with a 2-0 lead out of the gate, but Iolani quickly erased that and went up 5-2 to end the first quarter.  The score remained 5-2 until the half as a defensive struggle ensued. Kamehameha continued to inflict itself with poor passes to the posts, but kept the score within striking distance with improved post defense.  Credit Kaethen, Aukai, and Ethan for their defensive presence on the posts, along with goalie Josiah.  The Kamehameha offense came alive in the second half with goals from Trey, Kaethen, Conor, and Aukai with 2, his last one tying the game at 7.  Each team called timeouts the rest of the way, setting up a play that would hopefully get the game winner.  Unfortunately, Iolani made their last shot and Kamehameha did not.
