The boys played their best game in a loss against Punahou, losing 3-7. A new defense helped limit the effectiveness of the bigger and more experienced post players of Punahou. Punahou showed a wrinkle from their usual press defense and went to a zone, which limited the touches of Kamehameha's post players as well. The end result was a lot of swimming and blocked, tipped, and missed outside shots by both teams.
