Kamehameha junior Keonilei Akana ['20] and ʻIolani junior Elena Oglivie were named to the all-tournament team at the Durango Fall Classic for leading their teams to high finishes in the elite field.
Akana helped the Warriors finish in sixth place and the Raiders ended the tournament in ninth. Kamehameha made it into the championship division but got swept 25-17, 25-22 by Redondo Union (Calif.), which made it to the title match before losing to Assumption (Ky.). The Warriors came back to sweep Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) 25-19, 25-19 but lost the fifth-place match 25-18, 25-18 to Torrey Pines (Calif.).
