The Warriors (7-1) beat the visiting Pac-5 Wolfpack (4-3), 8 - 4 at Maluna Field.  The Warriors started strong with four runs in the first inning but were held scoreless for the next five innings.  D.Rawlins pitched five strong innings for the Warriors (1 run, 2 hits, 4 strikeouts and 1 walk) behind solid defense.  The Wolfpack came back in the top of the sixth inning with four runs before J.Pekelo got the third out on a strike out call with the bases loaded.  J.Pekelo also left a Wolfpack runner stranded at second base in the top of the seventh inning to set up the Warriors' last at-bat.  In the bottom of the seventh inning, H.Racoma and Z.S.Samoa both singled with two outs.  J.Pekelo then walked to load the bases.  V.Vincente was called in to pinch hit, and on a 1-0 count, lined a walk-off, grand-slam home run to end the game, 8 - 4.  The Warriors will travel to Corp 1 to play the St. Louis Crusaders on Wednesday, 3/15/2017 at 4:00 p.m.
